Tasks in the Chorez app are simple, one-time assignments, while chores are schedulable and repeatable. Think of it this way: shoveling the driveway would be a task since there isn't always snow to shovel - you assign this task after a snow storm, and when it is complete, it's gone from the queue. A chore, on the other hand would be something like "doing the dishes" or "cleaning the bedroom." You can set these up and assign them to your kids based on your needs, just be sure that the type of assignment fits in the appropriate bucket (task or chore).
